Harry Minsk died from wounds on 23rd November, 1914, after having been sent to a base hospital on the coast, but as yet there is no information as to when and where he was wounded. The 1st Connaught Rangers battalion was part of Ferozepore Brigade, of the Indian Army, that had arrived in France at the end of September and had then been in the trenches near La Bassee.
